What representation of the artist are constructed in this music video?
This is a video for one of Bruno Mars's "24k magic" and in this music video the artist himself has been portrayed in egotistical and arrogant way, although this may not have been his intention, this is because of how the video is shot and edited.
The video itself begins with an establishing shot of Bruno Mars and his friends exiting a private jet surrounding by a bunch of expensive cars. This helps to establish the party mood and atmosphere that co-insides with Bruno's intention of creating the party track of the year that he wanted to promote to the audience. The video itself is also shot in the well known location of Las Vegas which connotes the idea of having a good time
The editing of the music video itself is edited in a particular way that helps to portray him in the arrogant way that most of the audience viewed him in. This is evident through the fact that there is multiple cuts to high end branded clothing and cuts to expensive cars which could be considered as him being showing off all the money he has received as result of his successful music career. There is also a lot of unnecessary cuts to Women in bikinis and scantly clad clothing which could be portrayed as him being sexist towards women as they are the only ones in minimal clothing. However, Bruno, the artist himself may have wanted to try and "inspire" people saying that if they work hard and get to where he is now they too could be surrounded by beautiful people in their future.

Throughout the music video in its entirety mostly everyone in the background and foreground are wearing designer clothes or at the very least expensive clothes. This may be to show how he is enjoying his success by buying expensive clothes and cars etc all in an attempt to have an enjoyable life. However, this could be interpreted by some of those who viewed the video as him being arrogant and lording his wealth over those who are simply just not as rich as him and probably will never be. During the video there are barely any scene with dark lighting this could be interpreted as him having that party theme he wanted the audience to feel when listening and watching the video, this could also be interpreted as how he has overcome challenges to accumulate this amount of wealth so in turn this could mean that he believes the money he has got has made him happy contrary to popular belief.
Throughout the music video there are many long shots of Bruno's clique of whom are all wearing expensive branded clothing, such shots may have been deliberately chosen to show how they are just trying to have a good time as they are seen throughout with big smiles when in everyone's company, however, an alternate interpretation to this is that they have used these long shots in order to flaunt their wealth which would in turn portray the artist in a negative and arrogant light. There are also many close up shots throughout "24k Magic" however most of these are of either Bruno's expensive jewellery or of the butts of the women who are featured in the video which as i mentioned before this could portray him as being sexist towards women as he is objectifying them for financial gain. However one could argue that Bruno simply knows his audience and is trying to appeal to his largely male dominated demographic.
